Summer Evening Concert
- Location: Belmont House, Stockport SK4 1TG
- Date: Friday 19th June 7:15pm – 9:30pm
- Cost: £15 per person

A perfect summer evening of wonderful music from 3 exceptionally talented players in relaxed cafe-style surroundings with light refreshments and a bar.
Ticket Price: £15 not for profit, excess funds will be donated to provision and training for defibrillators at Belmont House & Brinscall Hall.
7.15pm – 9.30pm (Doors open 6.45 and close at 10pm)

The Players
Ian Tate has been a piano accompanist based in Manchester since post-graduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music. He has worked with singers, choirs and orchestral musicians as well as holding teaching posts in further and higher education. Now retired from teaching, he has been pianist to the Lancaster Singers since 2012.
Jonathan Booty – Flute. Jonathan studied at the Royal College of Music with Graham Mayger and was then awarded a French Government scholarship to study for a year with Michel Dubost in Paris. Jonathan was appointed assistant principal flute in the Halle in 1980 where he performed for nearly 30 years. After leaving he studied post grad composition at Manchester university and freelanced with different ensembles in the North West.
Alison Hunt – violin. Alison studied at the Royal college in London with Raymond Cohen and then went on to a further post graduate year at the Royal Northern college with Clifford Knowles. Alison joined the Halle in 1980 and was a member of the first violin section for over 40 years before she retired.
