Spend a day in the company of magical sounds.

26th October 9am to 4pm at Belmont House, Stockport.

 The fee for the day is £20 which includes lunch and all refreshments.

A Study Day at Belmont House Saturday 26 th October 2024 (9am to 4pm)
What is chant? Why practise it? What might be the effects and benefits?

During the day we will look at the fundamentals of pure sound, rhythm and form.

We will sample different traditions and enjoy the opportunity of practising together.

Philosophy students, friends and family are welcome.

The fee is £20 for the day which includes lunch and refreshments.

A tutor presents material, and leads a discussion based on what arises. Being practical rather than academic, the emphasis is on personal knowledge. Students are encouraged neither to accept nor reject the ideas put forward, but to test them in practice for themselves, in the light of their own experience.
